To do something else than writing my master thesis, working and watching Netflix in this Corona pandemic, I started a small data analytics project. To document the project and its results I was looking for a suitable publishing platform that is not ugly and easy to use, but still leaves enough possibilities for custimzation (like supporting importing interactive html-graphics important for data visualizations). After some research I decided to use jekyll as an open source blog site generator in combination with GitHub Pages for hosting. Since I had already bought my own domain for my eMail account, I could use it for that as well.

So it happened that I now have my own blog. I will probably write about data analytics and electric mobility next to some personal post. I imported my spreadsheet book reading list, my LinkedIn post from 2019 about my internship in Singapore and my blogposts about my first weeks during my semester abroad in Mexico from 2016 (only in german).
